  1. This set of pliers is an addition to an 8 piece set that already purchased from Amazon.com, and well worth the extra expense. I’ve done some soldering on a couple circuit boards and the bent-nose design worked wonders in immobilizing the wires and other components in hard to reach areas. It helps to keep the job neater (less wasted solder) and the frustration level lower. The grips are made of a great non-slip material and are highly visible on a busy wokbench.
