Easy Eyelet Plier and 200 Eyelets Kit
I purchased this product after researching many similiar
products. I wanted something reliable, but inexpensive.
I used it in making Roman Shades. It was by far the best
value, especially considering it comes with 400 eyelets.
I found many times the eyelets to be as expensive as the tool. I found this tool to work well if you first make
the hole, insert the eyelet and only use the tool to crimp
the eyelet. I found this tip on a review for a similiar
tool. Maybe a man with more hand strength could skip this
step, but I couldn’t. It performed perfectly for me as above, and was exactly what I needed for my shades. I threaded the draw cords through this eyelet. All in all I thought it was a good value.
The price is the main reason for the 4 stars. Cut a slit in the fabric before you apply the grommet and don’t squeeze too hard as the metal will bend on the pliers which misalligns the press points.
